Asha Bhosle is dead
Asha Bhosle, one of the most influential singers of her time, passed away on Sunday. The singer was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on Saturday. Maharashtra Culture Minister Ashish Shelar made the announcement outside the hospital. His last rites will be performed at Shivaji Park on Monday at 4 PM.Asha Bhosle received numerous awards throughout her career for her many notable songs. The singer was awarded the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2000, followed by the Padma Vibhushan in 2008.
Priyanka Chopra continues shooting for ‘Varanasi’
On the work front, Priyanka will soon be seen in the action adventure film ‘Varanasi’. The actress will play the female lead in SS Rajamouli’s currently under production. According to reports, the team of the film, which is still shooting in India, will be heading to Antarctica to shoot a segment on the Ross Ice Shelf. The team has a few more months to shoot to begin post-production work in time for the film’s April 2027 release.
