The dwarf son of Tywin Lannister, he survived in a world full of giants through his intelligence, confidence and the strength to command a room. Although he is known as ‘The Imp’ in a derogatory sense, he uses it again and strikes with his own strength. The character itself is a huge inspiration, and some of the words spoken during the show can be applied to our lives as well.

Shield yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.” The quote directly states how important it is for an individual to work on himself and trust who he is.The quote also talks about being aware of yourself as a person and accepting yourself for who you are, including flaws and positives. “Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness” refers to using your flaws and unknown attributes and making them part of your identity in such a way that they become your strength. If you can’t do that, the people around you and society will see all of this and use it against you.The quote is also directly related to the character. Despite being despised by his Lannister family for his size and other flaws, he persevered through it all. He regained his weakness as an ‘Imp’, and later in the show, owned the derogatory word as a badge of honor. Life is about identifying your faults and accepting the labels thrown at you. Instead of throwing them down, you must rise above them and reclaim your identity.
