The animated film’s official synopsis reads: “After their ship is caught in a mysterious storm, the Paw Patrol pups land on an unknown tropical island full of dinosaurs. They meet Rex, who has been stuck on the island for years and has become an expert on all things dinosaur. Hoping to exploit the island for its natural resources, he inadvertently causes a giant dormant volcano to erupt.
