The examination is conducted to determine eligibility for teaching posts in primary and upper primary classes in government schools across the state.Online application will start from 26th March 2026 and will continue till 9th April 2026. Application will be accepted till 11:45 PM. The examination will be conducted in two shifts, and the first shift will be from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, and the second shift will be from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. For Paper II, the candidate needs to complete graduation course with B.Ed or D.L.Ed or equivalent course. There is no such age requirement for the candidate, and the candidate must be a permanent resident of the state of Odisha.For both papers, the exam will have 150 objective type questions for a total of 150 marks. Topics will include Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II in English, and subject-wise topics. For Paper I, the topics will cover Mathematics and Environmental Science, and for Paper II, the topics will cover either Mathematics or Science/Social Studies.
