National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the application correction window for National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2026. Candidates who have already submitted their application forms can now make necessary changes by visiting the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/NCET.As per the official notice, NCET 2026 application correction window opened on March 12 and will remain available till March 14, 2026, 11:50 PM. Candidates are advised to check their application form carefully and make corrections within the given last date, as no further opportunity for correction will be provided after the window closes.
How to edit NCET 2026 Application Form
To make changes in the application form, candidates have to login to the portal using their application number and password. After logging in, they can edit the allowed fields and submit the updated details.Direct link Here
Fields that can be edited
NTA has allowed the candidates to modify various details in the application form. However, the types of changes allowed vary by field.Candidates can change any one of the following fields:
- Candidate’s Name
- Father’s Name
- Mother’s Name
Candidates can edit all the following details:
- Class 10 or equivalent exam details
- Class 12 or equivalent exam details
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- category
- Sub-category, PwBD or PwD status (if not verified by UDID)
- signature
- Candidates can also add or modify the following details.
- Essay or examination paper
- University, program, or course preference
Details that cannot be edited
Certain important details cannot be changed during the correction window. These include candidate’s mobile number, email address, permanent address, current address and uploaded photograph.However, candidates who have used identity proof other than Aadhaar during registration can update their identity information, including Aadhaar details.
NCET 2026 Exam details
The NCET 2026 exam will be conducted on April 17 in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam will be conducted in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Gujarati, Kannada, Assamese, Bengali, Malayalam, Marathi, Telugu, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Urdu.Candidates can also request to change their examination city based on their permanent or current address. However, NTA does not necessarily accept the requested test city or test source.Applicants are advised to check all the details carefully before submitting the correct form to avoid problems during the examination process.
