National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched its official Instagram and Facebook handles to provide real-time updates to students appearing for major entrance exams. The move aims to make communication faster and more accessible to candidates.Students preparing for exams like Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) and Common University Entrance Test (CUET) can now follow these social media accounts to get important alerts. The agency announced the move on X, saying students can now get “real-time updates, exam alerts and everything” in one place. Candidates are encouraged to follow official accounts to stay updated.
What updates will students receive?
According to NTA, the newly launched social media handles will share application form notifications, exam date announcements, city notification slips, admit card updates, answer key notifications, and result announcements. The move is expected to help students track updates more easily, especially during peak exam periods when multiple announcements are issued in a short span of time.
Why did NTA start social media handles?
This decision is part of NTA’s efforts to strengthen digital communication and connect directly with students. Many candidates now rely on social media platforms for daily updates, and the move aims to reduce the confusion caused by multiple sources of information.Using popular platforms like Instagram and Facebook, the agency hopes to ensure timely communication and better access to students across the country. The National Testing Agency was established in 2017 and conducts several national-level entrance exams for higher education, including JEE Main, CUET Undergraduate (UG), CUET Postgraduate (PG), and NEET Undergraduate (UG). Students are advised to follow the official handles for latest updates and announcements.
