The film is divided into two parts and the second part will hit the screens on Diwali 2027. The first look teaser of the film featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama was released recently and since then there has been tremendous buzz. As anticipation builds, producer Namit Malhotra is negotiating a major OTT deal for the two-part epic. Reports say that he recently rejected a massive offer of 700 million euros for the digital rights.A report in Bollywood Hungama quoted a source as saying that this Rs 700 crore offer included both parts of the film, but Namit turned it down, considering the size and investment behind the project. “He is expecting a deal of Rs 1 billion from OTT players, and Rs 3 billion needs to be recovered from other sources, including global theatre,” the source told the portal. The update also indicates that Namit remains confident of bagging a bigger deal, given the film’s global appeal. “It’s a film that gives global reach to all platforms. And 1,000 crore is a good price considering the potential of the two films. He has the rights close to his chest and will meet with the right player at the right price. There is an opportunity now to sell only part 1 and part 2 until the release of part 1, until the release of part 1,” he said. A cast of ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ is included Sai Pallavi As Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol Like Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey like Lakshmana. He is composing the music for the film Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman.
