MHTCET 2026: The State Common Entrance Test Cell Maharashtra has announced a fresh registration window for the second attempt of the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2026. The decision was taken after several candidates requested another chance to apply after missing the earlier deadline.As per the notification issued by the Government of Maharashtra, the registration window will open for two days from April 15 to April 16, 2026. Candidates can apply online with additional late fee.MHT CET (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Physics, Chemistry, Biology) 2026 examination is conducted for admission to Engineering, Pharmacy and Agriculture courses for the academic year 2026-27.

MHT CET 2026 Second Attempt: Important Dates

Candidates should note the important dates provided below:

  • Registration Start Date: April 15, 2026
  • Last Date of Registration: April 16, 2026
  • Late fees: ₹500 for all categories
  • Tentative Exam Dates (Second Attempt): From 10 May to 16 May 2026

Important Instructions for Candidates

The State Common Entrance Test Cell has also issued important guidelines for the candidates:

  1. Candidates missing initial registration can apply for second attempt during this period.
  2. Candidates already registered for both attempts need not re-register.
  3. Candidates who have not created their Academic Bank of Credit Account Registry (APAAR) ID should create an ID through DigiLocker.
  4. No amendment facility will be available after submission of application form.
  5. Candidates are advised to check all the details carefully before submitting the form.
  6. Applicants should visit the official website regularly for more updates and exam instructions.
