JSW MG Motor India has announced a price revision across its model range, with cars becoming more expensive from April 1, 2026. The company has confirmed that prices will be increased by up to 2% on select models as it looks to manage rising input costs.According to an official statement, the decision has been taken to partially offset the impact of continued cost pressures faced by the automaker. Like many other automakers in India, MG is dealing with high costs related to raw materials, logistics and overall production. The price hike will be applicable across the brand’s mainline portfolio, which includes both ICE vehicles and electric cars. However, MG has clarified that its premium EV offerings, which are sold through the MG Select channel, will not be affected by this revision. This means that the prices of models like MG M9 and Cyberster will remain the same.
Currently, MG’s lineup in India starts with the Comet EV, priced at Rs 4.99 lakh with BaaS, and goes up to the Gloster SUV, priced at Rs 46.23 lakh for the top-end variant. Price adjustments are expected to vary depending on the model and variant, with the maximum increase limited to 2%.Customers planning to buy an MG vehicle can book before the end of March to avoid the price hike. The company also advises buyers to check with authorized dealerships or visit its official website for accurate, model-wise revised prices.Stay connected with TOI Auto for the latest updates on the automotive sector and follow us on our social media handles on Facebook, Instagram and X.
