Malaika Arora Once again the date is at the center of the chatter, but this time, the actress is in no rush to label anything. While her personal life has long grabbed attention, be it her relationship with Arjun Kapoor or her frequent dating rumours, the latest speculation links her with diamond merchant Harsh Mehta. The whispers started after the two were spotted together at the Enrique Iglesias concert in Mumbai last October. Their obvious comfort around each other and leaving the venue together quickly caught the attention of fans. However, instead of making loud public appearances, the couple have largely kept things low-key. A recent visit to the serene Adinath Jain temple has once again brought it into focus. A video from the tour, which is now circulating online, shows them posing with fans and sharing a light and easy moment, not seeming concerned about being seen together.
A model of quiet camaraderie?
This is not the first time the two have been linked beyond Mumbai. Earlier this year, around Valentine’s Day, a picture of Malaika and Harsh from Italy surfaced online. Taken at the iconic Trevi Fountain, the image showed the two in a closed and candid frame, subtle but enough to keep speculation alive. While none of these moments confirm a relationship, they do indicate a growing ease in each other’s company, away from the glitz of formal announcements or social media declarations.
“Not looking, but open to life”
Interestingly, Malaika has spoken about the constant scrutiny surrounding her personal life, including the rumors linking her to Sorab Bedi. Calling the speculation “degrading”, she said that she and her son Arhaan Khan often laugh about it.In an interview with Curly Tales, she made it clear that she is not looking for an active relationship. “I can’t plan these things; if it’s meant to happen, it’s going to happen. Right now, I’m really happy just looking at all this that’s going on in my life,” she said. He also emphasized that although friendship is significant, it is not necessary. For Malaika, being self-made and independent is a priority, and any relationship, if any, will be an option, not a necessity. For now, be it companionship or something more, Malaika seems content to let life unfold—on her own terms, and away from the pressure of public validation.
