The upcoming Tamil movie ‘Love Insurance Kompany’ (‘LIK’) is gearing up for release on 10th April 2026. This film was directed by Vignesh Shivan and the comedy is presented as a romantic science fiction film. Prime Video ‘LIK’ secures digital streaming rights
Even before its theatrical release, the film has bagged a major OTT deal. According to 123 Telugu, ‘Love Insurance Kompany’ has sealed its OTT rights with Amazon Prime Video. The announcement indicates that the OTT market made the original theatrical release on demand. After the theatrical release, the film will begin streaming on Prime Video four weeks later. Hence, if all goes according to plan, the film will be aired on the OTT platform by mid-May 2026. However, the producers have not yet made an official announcement about it.
‘LIK’ – A unique futuristic story
Set against a dystopian society in the year 2040, ‘Love Insurance Kompany’ is a romantic-techno-suspense drama where the protagonist participates in a technology program that joins the people. Krithi Shetty plays an important role and veteran actor SJ Suryah is the founder of the company. The film has a talented cast including Yogi Babu, Seeman, Gouri G. Kishan, Mysskin and Anandaraj. The film’s music is by Anirudh Ravichander, a composer and singer whose previous songs and background scores have created a huge fan following.
