Speaking to Woman’s World, the 64-year-old actress said she has no problem playing older characters on screen now. He also joked about playing an old character for years, recalling his time on ‘Back To The Future’.In the iconic film, Thompson played a 17-year-old, then a 47-year-old, and finally a 77-year-old. Referring to this, “it’s a gift to be a part of such an iconic film that is loved and recognized all over the world,” he added, adding, “people are used to me aging.” She also said how funny the situation is: “It’s funny that I’ve been playing the mother of a 17-year-old for 40 years! I really cornered the market there.“

During the interview, the star joked about the only difference between playing an old woman and being 60 now. Referring to the prosthetic make-up she wore when she was 47 to 77, the actress said: “The fun thing about doing that old age make-up was that I could take it off at the end of the day! Now I use some lovely skin care.”
