Perhaps one of the roles he looks forward to in his next projects is opposite ‘TOXIC’ YashTara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, Kiara Advani, Kyle Paul and many more. Apart from that, he is also shooting for various roles in different languages. ‘TOXIC’ will be officially released on June 4th this year. One of his roles is ‘Patriot’, a Malayalam film in production so far. He will star alongside Mammootty, Mohanlal, Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Darshana Rajendran and many more. Another Malayalam film that Nayanthara is working on is titled ‘Dear Students’, however, not much is known about this upcoming film. These two films will be released this year.As for 2027, the actor is part of a project called ‘NBK 111’. The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead and is directed by Gopichand Malineni. It is still in production today.

Apart from all this, the star is still keeping busy and has confirmed to appear in 4 upcoming films in Tamil language. One of them is ‘Mookuthi Amman 2’, a fantasy film starring Urvashi, Sneha and Duniya Vijay among many others. It is a direct sequel to the 2020 film, and Nayanthara is all set to reprise her role as the female lead. The next film is ‘Mannangatti Since 1960’ which has already completed its shooting. Directed by Dude Vicky, the film will star Yogi Babu, Gouri G. Kishan and Devadarshini Chetan and many more. She will also be seen in ‘Hi’, where she will play the lead role alongside actor Kavin. Although it was slated for release in April 2026, no official date has been shared with the public. Another film in development since 2024 is likely to release this year. “Rakkayie” stars Nayanthara once again and tells the story of a mother who does anything and everything to protect her daughter from evil.
