New Delhi: Three-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have unveiled their new jersey ahead of the IPL 2026 season.Speaking at the launch of the jersey, Knight Riders Sports Chief Executive Officer Venky Mysore said: “The Lions of Legacy captures the essence of KKR’s storied history and celebrates the team’s journey over the years. Each line represents a moment of brilliance, reflecting the energy and spirit that come together to create our identity. We are proud of the legacy we have built and want to carry it forward into the upcoming season and create more memories for our fans.”
Speaking about the campaign film created around the new kit, Knight Riders Sports Chief Marketing Officer Banda Dey said: “Our ‘What’s the line?’ With the campaign film featuring actor Rajat Bedi and comedian Anirban Dasgupta, and other popular creators from Kolkata, we wanted to bring the idea of ‘Lines of Legacy’ to life and celebrate the iconic moments that define KKR’s journey. The campaign invites fans to be a part of the story as we head into a new season. By collaborating with local influencers and creators from Kolkata, we are bringing the team’s legacy to fans in an entertaining and authentic way.”KKR have lifted the trophy on three occasions – in 2012, 2014 and 2024.
