Pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau turned the biggest music festival – Coachella – into a romantic date night. The couple, who have been making waves with their appearances across town, performed together at the event. Dressed in white T-shirts, the two were seen keeping their looks relatively casual as they attended the event with a host of other fans. Photos and videos from the event saw the two sharing some loving moments on the floor. When they weren’t holding hands and arm-in-arms during live performances, the two would grab a bite to eat together and even sit in a reserved area for a drink. Perry also gave fans a glimpse of their evening via Instagram, posting a few pictures and captioning it as “the heat these chicks control.” She also shared photos of herself with Trudeau, standing close throughout the night.The pair also attended Justin Bieber’s headlining performance, where Perry joked about the singer’s YouTube-style set. In response to Justin opening a YouTube tab on the big screen, he joked in one clip: “Thank goodness it’s Premium… I don’t want to see ads.”Perry and Trudeau, believed to be dating since mid-2025, have had no qualms about flaunting their PDA online. Although the couple has largely kept their romance private, they have been sharing romantic photos and videos from vacations and trips together. Trudeau and Perry recently made headlines when the politician’s son Xav opened up about his equation with the singer. He says that when he’s looking for advice on his music, he’s able to go to his father’s girlfriend. “When I’m really happy with a song [I] send it [to her]”, said Xave in an episode of the Uncensored podcast. “He’s always happy to give me advice or to tell me what I need to change.” He continued to talk about the singer, “he’s very nice. It is on the ground. It’s great. I think my dad is happy, so it’s important.”
