JPSC City Intimation Slip 2026: Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released City Intimation Slip for Civil Services Prelims Exam 2026. As per the official notification, candidates can now access their allotted district headquarters details by logging into the One Time Registration (OTR) portal on the Commission’s website from April 8.The final admit card, which will contain comprehensive details including the exact address of the examination center, attendance sheet, and important instructions, will be made available from April 14, 5 PM onwards. Candidates will need to download these documents through a single OTR login credentials — email id, mobile number, or registration number, along with password.JPSC Preliminary Exam will be conducted in all 24 districts of Jharkhand. Some of the important districts where the exam will be held are Ranchi, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur (East Singhbhum), Bokaro, Hazaribagh, Deoghar, Dumka and Palamu.This exam is being conducted to fill up a total of 103 required posts in the state civil services. These posts include posts like Deputy Collector and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).The examination process will still consist of three stages including preliminary examination, mains and interview.The preliminary examination schedule is as follows:
- Paper-I: General Studies I – 19 April 2017, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Paper-II: General Studies II – April 19, 2017, 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Both the papers are objective type, carrying 200 marks each, with a duration of two hours per paper. In particular, there is no negative marking, a factor that can affect a candidate’s strategy. However, Paper II remains qualifying in nature, making performance in Paper I important for determining merit.The city intimation slip contains important personal and exam related details like candidate’s name, date of birth, registration number, exam date, and shift timings. However, it deliberately withholds the exact location of the examination centre, which will be revealed only through the admit card.
