Authorities said arrest warrants have been issued and served on felony charges through District Court. The police department said the investigation remains “active and ongoing,” adding that Arkansas law limits the amount of information that can be released publicly in cases involving minors and other sensitive circumstances. “To protect the integrity of the investigation and the privacy of those involved, no further details will be released at this time,” the department said.

Charges against Joseph were filed March 18 by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office after learning of an alleged incident in 2020 in which he is accused of molesting a 9-year-old girl while on vacation with her family in Panama City Beach, Fla. Joseph was arrested in Arkansas, where he lives, but the case is taking place in Florida.Joseph, who appeared in four iterations of his family’s series “19 Kids and Counting,” has been married to his wife, Kendra, since 2017.
