Amy Duggar King took to her Instagram stories to share, “I don’t know what’s going on,” Amy tearfully said in her video. “And our local news says there’s more and there has been, somebody else has been arrested and things are happening and I just, I don’t know.” “I thought everyone should know there’s more to this story,” he added. “I don’t know what it is though.”She shared the clip on March 20, the same day Kendra, 27, was arrested. A few days earlier, on March 18, Amy’s cousin and Kendra’s husband, 31-year-old Joseph Duggar, was also arrested. The couple is facing four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of false imprisonment after they allegedly molested a 9-year-old girl while on vacation in Florida, according to Arkansas authorities.
Amy Duggar King also reacted to Joseph Duggar’s arrest
After learning of Joseph’s arrest, Amy released a statement saying she was “absolutely shocked to learn of these allegations and Joseph’s arrest.” However, “at the same time, it doesn’t surprise me that another suspected predator has come out of that toxic system,” he added.Amy also noted in her post that family ties “should never equate to automatic trust or access,” especially when it comes to children’s safety.
