Thomas, now 54, told the ‘It Happened in Hollywood’ podcast: “I wasn’t ready for it. It’s weird that I never predicted it would happen. I was surprised when people first met me.”In fact, the 54-year-old “never thought about being famous” and found the whole situation “very strange”. Still, he felt pressure to “keep going, do something better.”It was even more appealing to Henry because he was living with his family in Texas at the time, which meant that agencies were reluctant to sign him before he starred in the film. He thinks he could have had a different career, if it had been more of a career. But then again, he admits, he wasn’t very interested.
