Thomas, now 54, told the ‘It Happened in Hollywood’ podcast: “I wasn’t ready for it. It’s weird that I never predicted it would happen. I was surprised when people first met me.”In fact, the 54-year-old “never thought about being famous” and found the whole situation “very strange”. Still, he felt pressure to “keep going, do something better.”It was even more appealing to Henry because he was living with his family in Texas at the time, which meant that agencies were reluctant to sign him before he starred in the film. Steven Spielberg film, as his family was not interested in relocating.

Looking back on his career now, the Legends of the Fall actor said, “Most of the time I’m pretty happy being an actor.” But being in the public eye for so long meant that Henry experienced the “roller coaster” of the entertainment industry. “I’ve had moments where everything’s been great,” he said, “and I’ve had moments where you feel like you can’t arrest him.”But despite his career ups and downs, Henry doesn’t regret his choice. He thinks he could have had a different career, if it had been more of a career. But then again, he admits, he wasn’t very interested.
