Summer 2026: In a major move towards strengthening research exposure among undergraduate students, GRISHMA (Undergraduate Summer Research Programme) at Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has announced its 2026 edition. Organized as part of the institute’s broader academic initiatives, the program provides students from across India with an opportunity to engage in faculty-led research.GRISHMA is designed to introduce students to the practice of scientific and scholarly inquiry. Participants will work within faculty-led research groups in fields such as science, engineering, technology, medicine and the humanities. The fellowship is designed to cover hostel accommodation, meals, travel expenses, and emergencies, and is distributed on a per diem basis depending on attendance.
