The ‘Riverdale’ star, along with co-stars Lola Tung, Alexandra Shipp and Victoria Pedretti, sat down for an interview with Cosmopolitan where they reflected on their careers. During one of the segments, when asked about a casting memo from a director she didn’t like, Reinhart had a surprising response that left everyone in disbelief.Although he did not take names when describing the incident, he said that this manager once commented on his stomach. “When a male director came up to me and I quietly leaned over and said, ‘Put her in the stomach a little bit,'” she recalled, shocking everyone. The issue stuck with her, especially since the actress has been open about her disordered eating and body dysmorphia for the past two years. Reinhart did not go into detail on the matter; however, Tung quickly joked and commented, “Time for a hex, time for a hex,” as all the girls encouraged each other to take the manager’s name.
The ‘Forbidden Fruit’ plot
On the work front, Lili Reinhart recently appeared in ‘Forbidden Fruit’. The official premise of the film reveals that the story revolves around three retail workers who are part of a small cult. Exploring themes of love, friendship, girlhood and magic, their lives are upended and ruined by the arrival of a fourth member.
