Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan recently, she opened up about an emotional moment involving her Salman Khan While shooting the song Sau Dard Hai from Jaan-E-Mann.In an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, Farah revealed this Salman he didn’t rely on glycerine for the emotional sequence and actually broke down while shooting the scene.
“He actually cried in that scene”
Farah shared that she shares a close bond with Salman since their childhood and even mentioned that the superstar recently attended her birthday celebration. Talking about his personality, he said that although Salman has a dry and sarcastic sense of humor, he is very soft-spoken.Reflecting on Jaan-E-Mann, Farah said she thought it was a beautiful film and added that it contained some of her best work as a choreographer.“The songs are very understated and the way they portray it. Voh jo Salman Brooklyn Bridge pe roya hai na, voh really roya hai. I don’t know what was going on in his life at that time, but it was the first time I saw Salman go through his pain,” he said.He also recalled the moment of the shooting, adding that it was completely real and not staged.“Voh jo khada hoke roya… there was no glycerine, nothing. She broke down crying there and it was magic. As the film didn’t do well, I broke down crying too,” added Farah.
“He doesn’t hide from controversy”
Farah also spoke about how Salman deals with controversies and public scrutiny. According to him, the actor does not run away from the critics, he blocks out the noise and continues to focus on his work. He added that in his long career, Salman has rarely taken holidays or even Sundays. Addressing the common perception that he is often late to the sets, Farah said the actor would usually stay back until the work was done.
