Filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan He recently spoke about his equation with three of Bollywood’s biggest superstars – Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan – while sharing a warm bond with Shah Rukh and Shah Rukh Salmannever came very close Aamir.Speaking on a podcast hosted by Ranveer Allahbadia, Farah admitted that Aamir is the Khan she has the least personal equation with despite working with him early in his career.“Salman came before Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir is at least someone close because he was a star when I was working on Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar,” said Farah. “He would teach me the basics on the film set. But somehow, I never got close to him.”
“After an hour I ran away while teaching Salman dance”
Farah also recalled a funny memory when she first worked with Salman while shooting for her debut film Maine Pyar Kiya.“Salman himself has said this publicly. I went to teach dance during Maine Pyar Kiya, but ran away an hour later,” he said.Despite their contrasting lifestyles, Farah said their friendship has continued over the years.“Sometimes I go to Salman’s house,” she shared. “But if you talk about hanging out, his idea is very different from mine. I want to sleep by 9:30 or 10 at night, and he likes to be up at 2 in the morning. But we met recently at my birthday party.”
“Salman has a very dry sense of humor”
Knowing Salman since childhood, Farah said the actor has remained unchanged despite the ups and downs in his life.“It’s been the same. He’s got a very dry sense of humor. If you get him, he’s a lot of fun,” he said. “Because he’s been through so much in life, his humor is very dead, very sarcastic and dry. But inside, he is a very soft person.”
“Salman does not hide from controversy”
During the interview, when Ranveer Allahbadia mentioned how controversies often push celebrities to hide, Farah said that Salman has never taken that route.“Salman does not hide. He blocks the debate and continues to do his job,” he said. Farah also addressed the longstanding perception of Salman arriving late to film sets.“People say he was late on set, but in those days many actors were late,” he explained. “That being said, they would still stay until the job was done. They would never say, ‘Please let me go after four hours.’
