Filmmaker Farah Khan took to social media on March 25 to write a personal and touching birthday tribute to her longtime friend Sunita Kapoor. Highlighting their bond spanning decades, Farah described the jewelry designer and his wife. Anil Kapoor as his “BFF in sukh and dukh” (happiness and sadness). In a series of heart-wrenching revelations, Farah shared how Sunita has been her constant support system, from sending food to Farah’s children while she is traveling, to holding her hand during the “worst patches” of life.

In her statement, Farah revealed a thoughtful nod to Sunita Kapoor. Farah wrote, “I started off as a friend of @anilkapoor..but over the years @kapoor.sunita has taken my friendship as a person that I cherish. She is the best friend you can ever give, who can always be there for you..whether it’s sending food to my kids when I’m out of town, or spending time with domestic help…”.Khan further described Sunita as a rare and invaluable friend: “If you have Sunita as your friend, you are very lucky.. because he has all his heart! I’m so happy to have won this friendship, it’s hard to win..
