Actress Meena’s Chennai home has become the talk of social media after reports claimed it was sold for a whopping Rs 100 crore. According to reports, the property, built nearly 20 years ago in traditional Kerala style at a cost of approximately Rs 10 crore, was reportedly bought by an NRI couple from the United States. Meena has not issued a statement on the matter, nor has there been any confirmation on her social media pages.

Manorama Online reports that the house, where Meena lived with husband Meena Sagar and daughter Nainika, has Kerala-style architecture with intricate wooden pillars, a spacious courtyard, a palatial design and traditional Thanjavur artwork. Meena’s mother Raj Mallika, originally from Kannur, played a key role in the design.According to reports on X and some Tamil media, the property was sold for 100 crores to an NRI couple who liked the property.However, neither Meena nor her family have confirmed or denied the reports so far.
Meena’s stance on the rumours
Meena has spoken about her discomfort with the false rumors affecting her family. In an interview with Galatta Tamil in February, she said, “People keep talking about my so-called second marriage, which is completely unacceptable. Those who spread these rumors forget that I have a daughter, and they don’t realize that she sees all this.”He added: “I’m ignoring them all now, but I can’t tell when my patience will run out.” The actress expressed her frustration with people assuming that they can write anything about women in the entertainment industry.
