The upcoming Tamil spy thriller ‘Mr. X’, starring Arya, has been in production for over two years before it is finally ready for a theatrical release. Despite the delay, the film has created a lot of excitement among its fans, especially since spy thrillers are rarely explored in Tamil cinema. Talking about the structure, he said, “Watching ‘Dhurandhar’, you see various events in India tied together in one script.” He added that ‘Mr. X’ uses a similar approach. “More or less, we have done the same thing in ‘Mr X’, combining various real events into a powerful story,” he said. Manu Anand also revealed that he had already locked the script in 2023, much before the film started creating buzz.‘Mr. X’ is based on real-life spy incidents in IndiaAccording to the director, ‘Mr. X’ draws its inspiration from various spy-related incidents that have taken place in India over many decades.
