‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ will hit the theaters today on March 19, and before the release, Madras High Court he has taken a big step to prevent movie piracy from being caught. The HC has issued a temporary restraining order against the illegal streaming and broadcast of the film.

According to the Bar and Bench report, the Madras High Court has directed the internet service providers and cable TV operators not to broadcast or telecast “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” illegally till April 15.
According to the report, Justice Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy passed the order after the film’s production company filed a petition raising concerns about the film being illegally streamed or broadcast online or on cable TV networks. The plaintiff producers stated that piracy would lead to huge losses.The court stated that failure to comply with the orders could cause “irreversible damage” to the rights holders. At the same time, he accepted that the legitimate commercial interests of some intermediaries would be harmed. The court ordered the producers to compensate the affected to strike a balance. The next session is scheduled for April 15. According to the report, the production company’s parent company withdrew an earlier petition seeking broader measures to curb piracy of the same film in February.
