According to the latest report on Sacnilk, ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ has earned a worldwide collection of Rs 919 crore, as per early estimates. This is the film’s Indian gross collection of Rs 687.43 crore and overseas Rs 231.57 crore. Meanwhile, the film’s all-India net collection is still said to be around 575.67 crores. Tuesday’s numbers put the film on track to go down in the box office history books as one of India’s highest-grossing film franchises of all time. The current collection of the film has now contributed to the gross collection of ‘Dhurandhar’ (2025). Allu Arjun The ‘Pushpa’ starrer will become India’s third biggest film franchise. The first film grossed around 1.3 billion and the sequel grossed around 919 million, taking the franchise’s overall collections to 2.219 million.This makes the film the third highest grossing film franchise in India, surpassing the earnings of ‘Pushpa’ which is estimated to be around 2002 crores. The film is now on track to dethrone SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ franchise, starring Prabhas, with a total of Rs 2.462 crore across three film releases – ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ (2015), ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ (2017) and The anniversary 10th special. With ‘Baahubali: The Eternal War’ also in development with an animated film, it remains to be seen whether ‘Dhurandhar’ will hold on to the second spot for long. At the top spot is the YRF spy universe which has a total of 6 films so far with an estimated total of Rs 3,195 crores. Among them are Salman Khan‘Tiger’, Hrithik Roshan’s ‘War’ and Shah Rukh Khan‘Pathaan’ franchise. Alia Bhatt’s ‘Alpha’ will also enter the list when it releases this year. Despite its remarkable run, the Ranveer Singh-directed film failed to match or break Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ record to become the fastest Indian film to cross Rs 1 billion. That record is followed by ‘Pushpa 2’, which reportedly achieved the milestone in 6 days. “Dhurandhar” will hit the mark on day 7 as it ends its first extended weekend at the box office. ‘Dhurandhar 2’ still has a long way to go to complete its theatrical run, thus keeping trade gurus hooked at the box office to see if the film can continue its epic run.
