Director: ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ Aditya Dhar and protagonist Ranveer Singh in mind, it’s all anyone’s talking about on social media ahead of its release this week. As the buzz around the film is increasing by the day, the supposed ‘early reviews’ of the film have started doing the rounds on social media ahead of its release.
‘Dhurandhar 2 ‘ reviews go viral
A purported review that gained viral attention online read, “#DhurandharTheRevenge is the #Baahubali2 of this era !!!! Mouth agape after watching this crazy Censor Board movie!” Another publication gave the film a four-star rating and read: “The first half (about 2 hours and 10 minutes) is a complete slog. Right from the start the film grabs your attention and never lets go. Ranveer Singh is in full BEAST MODE throughout the film. His screen presence and intensity are next level.”
Fans call it “fake reviews”.
However, many fans were quick to question the authenticity of the first reaction, calling it a “fake review” and warning others not to believe unverified reports. “The movie isn’t certified yet and this guy has already seen it.” Another asked: “Where did you see it? Like it wasn’t released yet?” Another said: “Paid preview dekh liya kya?”Several fans have pointed out that the official screenings of the film have not yet taken place, nor has the film been certified in India, so it is unlikely that the criticism will be legitimate.
Yami Gautam reviews for ‘Dhurandhar 2’
So far, the only one to officially comment on ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is director Dhar’s wife, actress Yami Gautam, who spoke about the film at the News18 Rising Bharat Summit 2026. While telling the audience that Aditya will only share official details about the film, he revealed that he has seen “Dhurandhar 2” and called it “unique”.Speaking at the summit, Yami said, “I have already seen Dhurandhar 2. It is unusual. I was really emotional. I had to catch a plane that day, so I couldn’t say anything to Aditya, but later, I couldn’t do anything. I had to read a script, but I couldn’t; I needed to see something, but I couldn’t. I was watching the beautiful sunset outside and wondering what I will say to Aditya when the flight lands. I wanted to justify the film and what I experienced. Aditya loves his audience and his country and has given his life’s effort to make this film. Dhurandhar 2 will be an experience the audience will never forget.”
