In a recent interaction with Hindustan Times, Mukesh Chhabra spoke about the casting process.“Even at the beginning Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna that they were not sure about being part of the film. Only R Madhavan said yes. “Little by little everything fell into place”

Chhabra further explained how the ensemble slowly came together.“When you start a movie, you wonder how many great actors will come on board. At first, there was nothing, but gradually, as we have discussed, it has started to fall into place,” he said. Talking about the hesitation among actors, Chhabra highlighted a major concern of multi-starrers: screen time.“Madhavan and Arjun were on set for only 12 days. Most actors are usually worried about how much screen time they will get. We told them impact is what matters here,” he shared.“If you look at Madhavan’s part, with only 12 to 14 days of work, the impact of the role is huge,” he added.
