When Bimali was asked about how Ranveer Singh nailed Hamza on screen for his turn, he revealed, “Unconsciously, it was always Hamza. Chodhta hi nahi tha (character) banda woh (He never got out of character).” He clarified, “Iska matlab yeh nahi hai ki gusse me rehta tha (That doesn’t mean he was angry on the sets).”Oberoi added that Singh’s dedication to his character helped improve his performance in the films ‘Dhurandhar’. He said, “Tabhi aap dekh rahe ho kya raha hai… kis level tak ki acting ho sakti hai. Matlab 360 degree kya, 720 degree acting ki hai. Itne ache se unhone woh enact kiya hai (That’s why you can see what’s going on—how far the acting goes. He has done 720 degree acting so brilliantly).

He sat down. We discussed it. We started talking about it: ‘What do you think?’. Slowly, little by little, he brought me into that world, and we both started talking about things.”Oberoi concluded, “Pura dil laga kar woh scene shoot hua tha.
