On Sunday, Aditya Dhar wrote a touching note on social media paying tribute to the film’s cinematographer. Nowlakha responded warmly, writing, “So excited about this. It’s the grace of your vision, your confidence and your leadership that allows all of us, cast and crew, the freedom to bring our instincts, hearts and spirits to this. You didn’t just hire technicians and actors, you embraced us all for who we were and brought us to our best. On behalf of the entire camera, light and grip department, thank you for this incredible journey.”

In his original post, Aditya Dhar revealed that Nowlakha was the last department head to join the project, joining just days before the shoot began. He wrote, “I have waited 30 years to do a film like this. I will give my life to it”—words that Dhar described as something Nowlakha said after reading the script and he fully meant it.Dhar praised Nowlakha’s resilience during the grueling shoot.
