However, I have noticed that some people are circulating manipulated visuals, using artificial intelligence to transform officially released promotional material to create false and misleading narratives,” his statement reads.He specifically responded to the portrayal of Ranveer’s character, Jaskirat Singh Rangi, popularly known as Hamza Ali Mazari, and called it fake. “This is completely false and is not a part of the film or the official material released by us. It is an act of deliberate misrepresentation to cause and create mischief,” Aditya wrote.Reaffirming his stance, the filmmaker added, “Let me state this: I have the utmost respect for the Sikh community, and every portrayal in the film has been handled with full sensitivity, dignity and responsibility. Any attempt to suggest otherwise through any doctored content is malicious and dishonest.”To conclude his statement, he asked the audience to trust only verified sources and not to be misled by such content. “I request the viewers to trust only the official content and watch the movie as intended and not fall for spreading AI-generated misinformation with ulterior motives.
