In an interview to Firstpost, when asked about many labeling ‘Dhurandhar 2’ as a propaganda film, Danish said, “It’s very easy to label anything as a propaganda or non-propaganda film. I don’t see any merit in this argument. It’s a film that people are enjoying and watching in good numbers.”

Sharing his experience of working with the director, he said, “Aditya Dhar is like an electrifying monk, calm yet full of vision. His ideas are very clear and fearless in execution. What has been achieved is nothing short of a cinematic miracle. I really want to work with him again and again. I have never experienced such a democratic director and such a warm and compassionate person on the set.’

‘Dhurandhar 2’, officially titled ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, is a spy action thriller directed by Aditya Dhar and described as the sequel and final installment of the ‘Dhurandhar’ duology. It has stars Ranveer SinghSanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun, and follows an Indian undercover intelligence agent who pursues his mission within the criminal and political networks of Karachi. The film released on 19 March 2026 in India, with paid previews starting on 18 March. The story continues after the death of Rehman Dakait, Jaskirat Singh Rangi, also known as Hamza Ali Mazari, delves into the gangster-terror nexus, facing bigger threats.
