Anna University Results 2026: Anna University has released Anna University Results 2026 for Undergraduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) programs. The Controller of Examinations declared the result on 13 March 2026 on the official result portal.Students appearing for Distance Education Examinations and Special Examinations can now access their scorecards online. Results include August and September 2025 exams as well as November-December 2025 sessions for regular programs.

Candidates can download the provisional mark sheet in PDF format by simply entering the registration number on the result portal.The results are declared in the form of score card. The mark sheet contains information such as semester, subject code, grade obtained in each subject, and result status, ie, whether the student has passed or failed the examination.Students are advised to check the information provided in the mark sheet carefully. Candidates need to contact the examination authority immediately if any discrepancy is found in the results.Steps to Check Anna University Result 2026Students can access their results through the official website of Controller of Examinations. To check the result, candidates have to visit the Anna University portal and select the link for August and September 2025 and November-December 2025 examinations for UG, PG and Ph.D programs.After opening the result page, the candidate has to fill his registration number and captcha code displayed on the screen. After filling the required information, the candidate can check their subject wise grades and result status on the result page. Candidate can download the score card for future reference.Reasons for results not appearing on the portalIf a result does not appear on the portal, several factors may be responsible. Entering the wrong registration number is one of the most common reasons. It is advised that students check the registration number printed on their hall ticket before re-admission.Heavy traffic on the result portal may also cause delays due to server load. In such cases, students can check again after few hours. In some cases, results may be withheld due to fee arrears, document verification issues or corruption inquiries.If a candidate was absent in a paper, the result will show “AB” for that subject. Students experiencing technical issues may try clearing the browser cache or accessing the portal using a different browser or device. Students can apply for a photocopy of their answers before rechecking them. Application for photocopy will be open from 10 March 2026 to 15 March 2026.Applications should be submitted through the concerned Study Centers or Examination Cell of the College. After the evaluation of the photocopy, the eligible students can apply for re-evaluation through the examination services section on the official result portal.The revaluation fee ranges between Rs. 300 and Rs.750 per subject depending on the course and regulation. The re-evaluation results will be published on the same portal in a few weeks.
