The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has announced that it will conduct a re-examination for the Class 12 Hindi paper following several reports of question paper leaks during the 2026 board exams.According to an official notice, the Higher Secondary Certificate (Class 12) Hindi Examination (Code 010/810), which was held on March 14, 2026, has been cancelled. The board said that the examination has been canceled after allegations of paper leakage before the examination surfaced.The matter came to light on March 15 and 16, when claims of papers being shared before the exam started circulating on social media. Following these complaints, a First Information Report (FIR) was lodged, and the matter was investigated.CGBSE said that the final decision was taken during the examination committee meeting held on March 23, 2026. After reviewing all the evidence, the committee concluded that the fairness of the examination was compromised. As a result, he recommended canceling the paper and holding it again.The board then officially canceled the March 14 Hindi exam and announced a new date.

Date and time of re-examination

Re-examination of Class 12 Hindi paper will now be held on 10th April 2026 (Friday). The exam will be held from 9 AM to 12:15 PM.Students must reach their examination centers by 9 am. The answer sheets will be given at 9 am, and the question paper will be distributed at 9:05 am. Students will get five minutes to read the question paper from 9:05 am to 9:10 am. The writing will start at 9:15 am and will continue till 12:15 pm.Important instructions for studentsThe board has clearly stated that the re-examination will be conducted as per the prescribed class 12 syllabus and existing guidelines. Students should follow all instructions carefully on the day of examination.CGBSE also clarified that even if any local or administrative holiday is declared on the exam date, no change will be made in the re-exam schedule.Students are advised to stay updated only with the official announcements and prepare for the re-examination accordingly.
