BRO GREF Recruitment 2026: Border Roads Organization has issued a new recruitment notification for the recruitment of 899 posts within General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF). This recruitment notification has been issued through advertisement no. 01/2026 and are looking to fill up the vacancies for Indian Nationals in various posts and trades.Vacancies advertised under Employment Newspaper Issue 18-24 April 2026, have planned start date in April 2026 and will continue till May 2026.Distribution of Posts by PostThere are six different posts that need to be filled, classified according to the posts. Maximum vacancies are seen for Store Keeper Technical (SKT) posts with 300 vacancies. It is followed by Operator Communication with 261 posts and Operator Exploiting Machinery (OEM) with 207 posts.There are 42 posts for Draftsman and 10 posts for Hindi Typist. There are 79 vacancies for Electrician posts. The category-wise distribution is 466 general posts, 120 SC posts, 67 ST posts, 228 OBC posts, and 18 EWS posts, making the total number of posts 899.
Details about reservation for ESM and PwBDThe notification also includes information regarding reservation of posts for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and Benchmarked Persons with Disabilities (PwBD). Storekeeper Technical includes 45 posts for ESM and 12 posts for PwBD. For Operator Communication, there are 39 posts for ESM and for Operator Equating Machinery, there is reservation for 31 such posts.Draftman has 6 posts for ESM and 3 posts for PwBD. For Electrician, there is reservation of 12 posts for ESM, while for Hindi Typist there is reservation of 1 post for ESM.The process of applying for a positionCandidates are requested to apply as per given procedure.
