Sharwanand’s motocross drama ‘Biker’ opened to decent numbers with a Day 1 collection of 2.80 Cr. Despite a slight drop to 2.33 Cr on Day 2, the film is showing strong traction in Telugu speaking regions with Andhra Pradesh and Telangana leading collections. ETimes praised the visual execution and Sharwanand’s performance, rating it 3.5 stars.

‘Biker’ is a 2026 Telugu language sports drama film co-written and directed by Abhilash Reddy Kankara. It stars Sharwanand, Rajasekhar, Malavika Nair and Atul Kulkarni.It opened with a decent amount of motocross drama, but it took a dip on the second day. The Telugu sports drama starring Sharwanand collected Rs 2.33 Cr nett on Day 2 which represents a 16.8% decline from Day 1’s Rs 2.80 Cr.

On Day 2, ‘Biker’ earned 2.33 Cr nett from 2,094 shows as reported by website Sacnilk. This takes the gross collections in India to 5.95 Cr. Net collections in India are 5.13 Cr till now.Telugu version brought in Rs 2.28 Cr and Tamil added Rs 5 lakh. The film maintained a decent number of screens on Saturday.

Language and occupation trends

Telugu occupancy averaged 24.49% on Day 2 and evening shows had the best performance of 26.31%. The Tamil version had a lower share with an overall occupancy of 8.74%. Morning and evening shows continued to be softer in Tamil. Telugu dominated with 1,907 shows compared to 187 for Tamil.

At the state level of ‘Biker’

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana led with a gross of 2.25 Cr on Day 2. Karnataka followed with Rs 26 lakh while Tamil Nadu collected Rs 15 lakh.Kerala and the rest of India added smaller numbers. As per the collection reports, it is sure that the film is clearly gaining more traction in the Telugu speaking regions.

Cinematographer J. Yuvaraj captures the mud, movement and chaos of motocross with finesse, while the backdrop of Coimbatore adds texture and scale. The racing sequences, in particular, are executed with great energy and precision, and stand out clearly.”

The film focuses on motocross racing with technical ambition. It mixes action, family emotions and ambition in an adult sports environment.
