In a recent interview, Paresh insisted that the film retains the director’s classic touch, while also delivering a deeper emotional impact. Rawls confidently declared “Bhooth Bangla” superior to “Bhool Bhulaiyaa”.

Talking to Money Control, Paresh Rawal opened up about the film saying, “I think Bhool Bhulaiyaa se kai achchi film aayi hai, it’s a well shot film, itni bethreen shoot ki hai ye film Priyan ji logon ko bahut maza ayega. Mithila Assembly badi achchi hai Of course, we shot at Chomu Palace (Jaipur) so memory taza hoti hai Bhool Bhulaiyaa. It’s a good movie.”

In the same interaction, Rawal expressed his joy as he once again finds joy in working with his director. He shared his excitement, highlighting the director’s return to Hindi cinema after six years of acclaimed Malayalam projects. The actor said, “Priyan ji ke saath jab jab kaam karta hoon mujhe maza hi aata hai. Ya phir woh Malamal Weekly ho, ya Hera Pheri ho, even Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Unke saath maza hi aata hai. Woh bhi kaafi ass baad aye hain. He is also returning to Hindi films after 6 years, he was busy with Malayalam films creating great films there. So bahut hi maza aya hai”.

‘Bhooth Bangla’, produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, stars Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal along with Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Rajpal Yadav, Jisshu Sengupta and Mithila Palkar. Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures (a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd) in association with Cape of Good Films, it is directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor. The film will be released on April 17.
