Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain continues to be a huge hit with audiences, and the team recently reunited for a spin-off film Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain: Fun On The Run, bringing the beloved characters to the big screen. Now, the adventure comedy is all set for an OTT release.
OTT release date announced
Directed by Shashank Bali, the film will release on April 3 on ZEE5. The film, which opened in theaters on February 6, will be available for streaming online.To announce the release, the platform shared a poster, “Modern Colony ki paltan nikal padi hai, karne fun on the run… Sahi pakde hain! 🥳🚕 #BhabijiGharParHainFunOnTheRun premieres on 3rd April on #ZEE5.”
Carrying forward the national heritage
The film follows the legacy of the iconic show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, which is inspired by the 90s sitcom Shrimaan Shrimati. The serial first premiered in 2015 on &TV and later gained a wider audience via streaming on ZEE5.Its popularity also led to the spin-off Happu Ki Ultan Paltan which launched in 2019. Earlier this year, the show passed a major milestone of 2,500 episodes, celebrating its enduring cross-generational appeal.The film takes the familiar characters into a wider cinematic realm full of humor, mayhem and strange situations. The screenplay is written by Raghuvir Shekhawat, Shashank Bali and Sanjay Kohli.

The film was modest at the box office, earning around 1.68 crores worldwide, according to Sacnilk.It has characteristics Asif Sheikh Vibhuti Narayan Mishra, Rohitashv Gour Manmohan Tiwari, Shubhangi Atre Angoori Tiwari and Vidisha Srivastava Anita Mishra.The cast includes Mukesh Tiwari, Ravi Kishan, Soma Rathod, Brijendra Kala and Saanand Verma.
