“Baywatch” is perhaps one of the most popular American sitcoms on television. The show was a huge hit when it started in 1989. Since then, there have been many iterations of the show, along with a film that starred names like Dwayne Johnson, Zach Efron and Priyanka Chopra, to name a few. Now, as the show is relaunching, here are a few things you need to know about the new cast, along with plans to bring back familiar names.

‘Baywatch’ is back, and here’s everything you need to know about the new cast. The upcoming show, which was shared by The Hollywood Reporter, will be Stephen Amellhe was also the first name announced as one of the official members of the reboot. The surf show will also have names such as Shay Mitchell Best known for his work on ‘Pretty Little Liars’ and ‘You’ as well as Jessica Belkin. Mitchell will play an ex-lawyer who quits his high-paying job to become a full-time lifeguard. Belkin will play Amell’s daughter Hobie Buchannon, who shows up on her father’s doorstep hoping to become a lifeguard on Baywatch.Livvy Dunne reprises her role as a young lifeguard, alongside Noah Beck, who will reprise his role as a junior lifeguard. He comes from a family of firefighters; however, he dreams of being a good lifeguard rather than a firefighter. Brooks Nader will also join the cast as Zuma Beach lifeguard who is attached to Arnell.Next, ‘Tall Girl’ Luke Eisner has also landed a spot on ‘Baywatch’ and will play a rookie lifeguard. ‘Dangerous Animals’ actress Hassie Harrison will play a former foster child who becomes an Olympic prodigy and takes her job as a lifeguard seriously. Other names joining the cast include Nadia Gray, Charlie McElveen, Ashley Moore, Thaddeus LaGrone and Kylar Miranda. Some old and beloved faces from the original series will be returning to the hit show, which will be released later this year. David Chokachi He will reprise his role as Cody Madison, one of the main lifeguards who also runs a beach bar and grill restaurant. He is known for the films ‘Witchblade’ and ‘Soul Surfer’.The official release date of the show is yet to be shared, however, it is likely to be released by the second half of 2026.
