The last of the living legends of Indian film music, Asha BhosleBreach Candy died in hospital on Sunday at the age of 92. With a career spanning over seven decades, he won hearts across India and the world. He had been hospitalized a day earlier for heart and respiratory complications that led to multi-organ failure. His last rites will be performed at Shivaji Park with honors from across the state. Born Deenanath Mangeshkar on September 8, 1933 in Sangli, he started singing at a young age, making his debut in 1943 with ‘Chala Chala Nav Bala’ from ‘Majha Bal’.
