APSSB Combined Exam 2026: Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) has released the official notification for Uniformed Services Joint Examination 2026. The recruitment process will fill various posts including Constable Civil Police, Fireman, Special Tiger Guard, Constable Band and Constable Bugler in all departments of Arunachal Pradesh Government.A total of 984 posts have been announced through the recruitment exercise. These posts fall under Pay Level 3, with a salary range of Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100. Candidates selected through this process will be posted to the posts located in Arunachal Pradesh.Online application schedule and recruitment reviewThe online application process will open on 23 March 2026. Candidates can submit their form through APSSB official website till 10th April 2026.Uniformed Services Joint Examination 2026 is being conducted by APSSB for the recruitment of personnel for multiple uniformed roles. According to the notification, the recruitment drive includes the posts of constable, fireman, special tiger guard, band and bugler.The board has confirmed that the written examination is scheduled to be held on 10 May 2026 on a provisional basis. Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Trade Test will start from 25th May 2026.Distribution of posts and educational qualificationOut of total vacancies, 216 posts are for Constable Civil Police (Male). There are 73 posts in fireman category while 243 posts have been allotted for Special Tiger Guard under Special Tiger Protection Force.Other constable posts, including band, bugler and IRBN roles, account for 452 vacancies. Candidates applying for the posts of Constable Civil Police, Fireman and Special Tiger Guard must have passed class 10th.Applicants for Band, Bugler and other Special Constable posts must possess Class 10 qualification with required skills for the respective role. Application Fee, Age Criteria and Selection ProceduresThe application fee for general category candidates is Rs.200. Candidates belonging to Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) category are required to pay Rs 150, while Benchmark Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) are exempted from the fee.Candidates applying for the posts should be between 18 to 22 years of age or up to 32 years depending on the specific post. Important date for calculation of age limit is 10 April 2026. APST candidates are eligible for relaxation at the age of five years, while other categories will get relaxation as per government rules.The recruitment process will consist of several stages including written test, physical efficiency test, physical standard test, trade test for band and bugler posts, and a medical test. Candidates have to apply online, complete registration using mobile number and email id, upload documents including photograph and signature, pay application fee and submit form through APSSB website.
