Anna University Tamil Nadu has extended the last date for registration for Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2026 and Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission – Post Graduate (CEETA-PG) 2026. Eligible candidates can now apply for both the entrance exams through the official website tancet.annauniv.edu till 15th April 2026.Candidates who have not yet applied are advised to complete their registration before the last date to avoid last minute problems.

As per official schedule:
TANCET 2026 (MBA): 9 May 2026 (10 am to 12 noon)- TANCET 2026 (MCA): 9 May 2026 (2:30 PM to 4:30 PM)
- CEETA-PG 2026: 10 May 2026 (10 am to 12 noon)
TANCET is conducted for admission to MBA and MCA programs, while CEETA-PG is conducted for admission to ME, MTech, March and MPlanning courses.
Application fee
The application fee for TANCET and CEETA-PG 2026 is:
- Tamil Nadu Rs.500 for candidates belonging to SC, SCA and ST categories.
- 1,000 for all other candidates
TANCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for TANCET 2026 must fulfill the following requirements.
- Have completed at least 3 years of education with at least 50% marks.
- Reserved category candidates will get 5% relaxation.
- Candidates should follow one of these academic patterns:
- 10 + 2 + 3 or 4 years
- 10 + 3 Diploma + 3 Yrs
- BE/BTech/BArch/BPharm
- 10 + 2 + AMIE
- 10 + 3 Diploma + AMIE
CEETA-PG 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for CEETA-PG 2026:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with 50% marks.
- Reserved category candidates require 45% marks.
- Candidates having 10+2 / 10+3 + AMIE and two years experience can apply.
- GATE qualified candidates and final year students are also eligible.
- Candidates having BTech through distance or weekend mode are not eligible.
