In screenshots of her response, which have gone viral, she says: “Honestly, responding to a comment on social media – emotional, I know,” adding: “Normally I don’t bother, clearly trying to change someone’s mind here is like trying to teach cats to do calculus. But since you’ve so generously invested your precious time reacting to every little thing I’ve reposted, why not? Let’s go point by point so I can try to understand your seemingly endless problems with my attitude.”

On his remarks about calling Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ and Anupam Kher ‘The Kashmir Files’, he said “propaganda”, “For Dhurandar, it literally serves as a pro-government narrative, using political discourses to justify, say, small evictions. But call it demonetisation? Your definition of propaganda… is different, who knows.“

Following his comments on ‘The Kashmir Files’ and ‘Kerala Files’, he said: “Apparently the films have some creative math: ‘32,000 women converted to Islam!’ when actual cases barely scratch a few hundred. But hey, that’s how propaganda works, right? Take a grain of truth, sprinkle in some absurdly inflated numbers, and suddenly you’ve got a whole anti-community narrative.”Reet also questioned his critic’s authenticity and knowledge of “ground reality” because “you are a Kashmiri Pandit”. Explaining his stance, he clarified: “I never said the problems didn’t exist, but these films are clearly pushing a particular narrative and apparently deviation is optional. I’d love to hear from someone who knows the ‘real’ ground reality… if you’re not hiding behind a faceless anonymous account.”” In a question to a person claiming to be a Kashmiri Pandit, he asked, “Why don’t you share a single personal experience that is really relevant? Curiosity, dear friend, call it logical verification.”
Reet calls out Priyanka Chopra’s silence
He also addressed his dig at Priyanka Chopra, particularly for her controversial Oscar moment when she chose not to comment on the Israeli-Palestinian war. Netizens noted the actor who presented the award for the best international feature film Javier Bardemhe did not comment or react when the actor condemned the war: “No to war, and free Palestine.”Addressing the Oscar moment, he said: “Priyanka Chopra and her international platform. She has the opportunity to oppose an illegal war alongside someone who takes a stand, and… she can’t even clap.”
