‘I would change myself a lot’

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Ananya revealed that she would often change her personality in relationships, often at the expense of her individuality.

“In past relationships, I would have wanted the other person to shine more than me,” she said. “At the expense of letting myself go or shrinking myself, I would change a lot, become more like the other. I wish someone had learned earlier that they didn’t change me or affect me so much. I felt that I should have something less, and it’s something I wish I had realized sooner.’

“I couldn’t be alone for even 10 minutes”

The actress also shared how she once struggled with being alone and always needed someone around her.“I was someone who could never be alone. I would be afraid to sit alone for 10 minutes. I always needed someone around me: my partner, my parents, my friends,” she admitted.However, moving into his space changed that view significantly.“But when I started living alone, even though I’m in the same building as my parents, that little space changed everything. Building your own environment and doing things your way changed my love for space. Now I love being alone,” she added.
