Actor and comedian Alex Duong, best known for appearing in ‘Blue Bloods’, has sadly passed away after a courageous battle with a rare form of cancer. He was 42 years old.Duong passed away at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, at San Juan Hospital in Santa Monica, California, US Daily reported. The actor reportedly died after going into septic shock the previous day. He breathed his last surrounded by family and friends.

According to the report, Alex was diagnosed in 2025 with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, an aggressive cancer affecting the soft tissues. This led to serious complications, including a malignant mass affecting his optic nerve.News confirming his death was announced on a fundraising website organized to support his wife, Cristina, and their five-year-old daughter, Everest. The touching message read: “We are overwhelmed with gratitude – because of you, we have already reached our original goal. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

He said: “At the same time, with Alex’s death, Christina’s condition has become more critical and her financial needs are far greater than we could have anticipated.
