Aamir Khan He celebrated his 61st birthday on March 14 and marked it with a special video message for his followers. The actor revealed that he has spent the last few months choosing scripts and is now preparing to concentrate more on acting.In the video shared by the fan pageAamir Khan Universe’, the actor thanked his fans for their constant love and support, giving a glimpse of what he has been working on lately.“Thank you for all the love you have given me all this time. And it really means a lot to me. I have been hard at work choosing the scripts for my upcoming films. And for the last six months I have only been listening to the scripts. So I have finally decided on my next films,” said Aamir.While he didn’t reveal the titles of his completed projects, the actor hinted that audiences will be seeing more of him on screen soon.
To handle Aparna Purohit Aamir Khan Productions
The actor also announced a major restructuring in his banner, Aamir Khan Productions. Aamir informed that executive producer Aparna Purohit will now oversee the day-to-day running of the production house.“And from now on, Aamir Khan Productions — as I also spent a lot of time with my production house — will be handled by Aparna Purohit. And I’m focusing on acting. So I hope you’ll see a lot more work as an actor,” he said.
This year they have prepared two productions for the premiere
Aamir also confirmed that two films backed by his production house are scheduled to release this year. The first is Ek Din, starring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi, which releases on May 1.This will be followed by Lahore 1947 in August. The superstar also hinted at another project titled Ati Sundar, which will come up towards the end of the year. Aamir is currently heavily involved in the post-production work of a romantic drama Ek Din directed by Sunil Pandey. The film is produced by Aamir along with Mansoor Khan and Aparna Purohit.As the theatrical release on May 1, 2026 approaches, the actor is said to be personally ensuring that every aspect of the film’s production goes smoothly.
