The Malayalam comedy drama film, ‘Aadu 3’ released on March 19 to mixed reviews at the box office. Amidst the waves of ‘Dhurnadhar’, the film has registered in the Rs 100 crore club and on Thursday, the film collected Rs 73 thousand.According to trade analyst Sacnilk, ‘Aadu 3’ had a good opening where it collected 6.03 crores. Keeping the numbers consistent, the film enjoyed a full weekend of good numbers, raking in over 6.48 crores, 7.28 crores and 7.26 crores on Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively. This took the first week collection to 36.63 crores.In the second, the collection saw a slight decline, 1.45 crores on second Friday, 2.28 crores and 2.65 crores on second Saturday and Sunday respectively.73 lakh in 829 shows on Thursday, the film’s total stands at Rs 47.08 crore. This takes the gross collections in India to 54.43 crores.Interestingly, the film was also well received internationally. It has collected a total of 60.75 crores in gross collections, which makes its worldwide gross collection 115.18 crores.
Occupancy of the theater
The film had an overall occupancy of 18.28%. Morning shows had 8.25%, and then increased to 15% in the evening. Later in the evening, shows were at 16.58% and peaked at 27.67% at night.
