New details for CinemaCon 2026 are giving fans a closer look.Ramayana: First part’. After the conversations and interactions of day 1, a first look YashRavana’s costume was shared online.Pictures from the venue showed the costumes of the film’s main characters, among others Ranbir Kapoor‘s Lord Rama and Sai PallaviIt is Sita. Kapoor’s look featured a blue dhoti paired with a maroon and gold shawl, complete with a large gold crown and jewellery, similar to her look in the ‘Rama’ trailer. Sai Pallavi’s Sita, on the other hand, was presented in a simpler red saree with a necklace.

Yash’s Ravana costume, on the other hand, which was briefly teased in the Rama footage, was displayed on a mannequin. The photos gave fans a closer look at her striking black and gold bling. The look seemed to be designed as battle armour, with an elaborate crown, golden breastplate, shoulders, arms, cuffs and an elaborate dhoti.
Yash confirms ‘no scenes’ with Ranbir in ‘Ramayana: Part One’
In an interview with Fandango, Yash was asked about the film and creating a dynamic with his co-star Ranbir. To everyone’s surprise, Yash confirmed that he is not sharing any scenes with Kapoor in the first episode of the two-part epic. “The interesting thing is that in this film we have never come together on screen. As you all know, it is a two-part film, so in the first part, as Ravana, I have my kingdom and Rama has his kingdom,” he explained. Yash praises his co-star RanbirDespite not sharing screen space in Part 1, the actor heaped praise on his co-star, adding, “But, yes, we’ve met a couple of times, he’s a fabulous actor. I think it’s a mutual respect that’s played out and the chemistry is like when you go out to do something wonderful and it’s as ambitious as ‘Ramayana’. I think our visions are aligned, so chemistry between us isn’t even an issue. We’re enjoying it.”

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, ‘Ramayana’ is being assembled as a two-part cinematic event, with Part 1 slated for Diwali 2026 and Part 2 for Diwali 2027.
